LIVI, a CQC-commissioned online GP consultation service, has now launched in the UK
According to Pharma Times, a new digital GP provider – named LIVI – has launched in the UK.
LIVI is a service which patients can access through smart devices and enables online GP appointments, prescriptions and medical advice.
Currently, the service is available to patients registered with practices in North West Surrey and North West England. It is expected to roll out nationally.
Luke Buhl-Nielsen, LIVI UK’s MD, said:
“Our ambition is that, by using LIVI, we can work in partnership with the NHS to help improve access for patients whilst reducing pressure on local healthcare services and help deliver on Matt Hancock’s call for the UK to become the most advanced health system in the world.
“What makes our digital service different and so successful is that we take full responsibility for delivering outstanding care to patients as an integrated part of the healthcare system.”
