Engaging with the general practice community on Twitter

Sometimes being a practice manager can feel like a lonely role, but connecting online with others working in the same position as you could help

A GP practice manager is a solitary being in their practice, but a member of a brigade of over 9,000 managers scattered across the UK, working in all types of practices from large multi-premises practices to very small practices with one surgery and one doctor. Although the workload can be quite different between different practices, there are a lot of tasks and responsibilities that practice manages across the UK will all be familiar with.

There is a lot to be gained from sharing knowledge, grievances and achievements with those who understand your role the best – other practice managers. So, how can you engage with the primary care community? Practice Business have compiled a list of some of the accounts on Twitter you could connect with.
