Nominations are open for this year’s PMA Awards – designed to recognise and reward fantastic achievements across all areas of the healthcare sector
Entering its fourth year, the awards are free to enter and there are now 11 categories in total, including Practice Manager of the Year, Receptionist Team of the Year and Outstanding Contribution to General Practice.
This year sees the launch of two new awards – Sustainability in General Practice and Innovation in General Practice. PMA invites applications from all managers, PCN and practice colleagues – and you can even nominate yourself.
Winners will be presented with their awards at the Best Practice show in October, a two-day event attended by thousands of healthcare professionals.
Ian Jones, PMA’s director said: “It’s vital that we celebrate our successes in primary care, so we encourage as many people as possible to nominate someone they feel has gone above and beyond the call of duty. “Just being nominated can be a real boost for someone and this is a great opportunity to highlight some of the amazing work done by primary care teams right across the country.”
The headline sponsor for this year’s awards is Bespoke Clinical Services (BCS), one of the premier specialist medicines management service providers.
The deadline to submit applications is September 16th and the shortlist will be announced on September 27th, 2024.
