NHS England is enhancing its digital provision – providing for a digital population increasingly managing their health and wellbeing via digital tools. A recent YouGov poll revealed that two in three people (63%) would rather ‘econsult’ – with feedback from their own GP – within two working days, than to seek a face-to-face consultation, with an average wait of nearly two weeks.
With the recent announcement that every user in England will be able to use an app or a web browser to view their medical records and book appointments with their GP by the end of the year – this is quick becoming a reality for all. The closing date for the survey is November 30, 2017. After this we will collate responses and share this information with you – gaining a deeper insight into the digital practice.
