NEWS: British Transplant Games to Head to Sheffield

As reported by Transplant Active, The British Transplant Games will return in 2026, bringing up to 2,500 people of all ages and abilities together for a celebration of sport, life and organ donation.

The four-day event will take place in Sheffield from Thursday 6 August to Sunday 9 August. All competitors share one powerful connection: they have each received a life-changing transplant. Participants will take part in a wide range of sporting events, showcasing determination, recovery and the benefits of an active lifestyle after transplant surgery.

Organised by Transplant Active, the annual Games promote fitness, celebrate donors and inspire more people to join the UK donor registers. Registration is expected to open in February 2026, with further details available on the British Transplant Games website.
